MITEC fuels leadership through dynamic partnerships, such as the ASB-M25UP Industry Insights program with Asia School of Business and Maybank Senior Leadership. Our commitment extends to developing future leaders through collaborations like the Chevening Workshop. We also champion female leadership, hosting events in partnership with Breast Cancer Welfare Association and others, promoting awareness and unity.
Dynamic Partnerships To Fuel Leadership
MITEC partners with various organizations and institutions to foster knowledge sharing and drive progress in various areas of expertise. This includes our partnership with the Asia School of Business (ASB) and Maybank Senior Leadership team for the ASB-M25UP Industry Insights programme held in MITEC. The symposium was attended by over 170 executive participants and saw MITEC’s top management leaders share their experiences and insights on inclusive leadership, managing a world-class trade & exhibition centre, and sustainability in the business events landscape as well as the cultivation of a professional culture built on community, leadership, entrepreneurship, and extraordinary experiences.
Developing Future Leaders
In our commitment to support future leaders, we partnered with the Perdana Fellows Alumni Association to host a Chevening Workshop Information Session and Workshop. The workshop was conducted by the British High Commission in Malaysia and was attended by 30 participants. Chevening is a scholarship program that provides opportunities for outstanding emerging leaders and professionals from around the world to pursue postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom.
Celebrating Female Leadership Through a United Cause
In conjunction with Pinktober and its pivotal role in raising awareness on breast cancer, we hosted a women leadership networking event which was attended by over 50 corporate and social leaders. We partnered with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association (BCWA), The Rosewood Clinic and Estee Lauder Companies for the event, which also served as a fundraiser for BCWA. Among the highlights of the event were sharing sessions on the importance of regular screening, early detection and preventative healthcare, as well as a group kolam designing session with local kolam artists.
